RSA event
This week we held a RSA event to teach our TY students about road safety. Our students learnt about road safety, watched accident videos and interviews of people involved in accidents. Virtual Reality Headsets gave students a real life feel of accidents. Mallow Fire Brigade showed the students how they carry out their duties when they attend a road crash, using the jaws of life to remove a car roof to rescue a dummy. The local Gardaí demonstrated how the breathalyzer worked. Students really enjoyed the day and it was an eye opening experience of the risks on our roads and the responsibilities each of us have as individuals. Huge thank you to all the trainers involved.
